1 Replies and 1844 Views Problem using 10-bit monochrome image sensor with dev board  1844  1 Started by  Ryan Crowell We are trying to use the DM3730 TorpedoWireless SOM and dev board with a custom image sensor board, and are having trouble.  Hopefully one of you can help us out! The image sensor we're using is a monochrome, 10-bits-per-pixel Aptina MT9V033.  Our primary problem is that when we attempt to capture an image from the sensor, we only seem to get the least significant 8 bits per pixel.  We need the full 10-bit resolution.  Here is a summary of what we've done: 1) Electrical co...

1 Replies and 2881 Views linux driver for the ISP1763  2881  1 Started by  Matt Sacker Hi,   We having an issue with the BSP linux driver for the ISP1763, the USB OTG chip used in your reference design for the torpedo SOM.   We are trying to connect a UVC camera to it, but I get an error saying “PIPE_ISOCHRONOUS ain’t supported” when I start to stream video. Isochronous transfer is a type of USB transfer, and I think it is common to use this type of transfer for ‘streaming’ USB devices.   The ISP1763 driver is not part o...

3 Replies and 2201 Views Build a rootfs to reside in SD Card  2201  3 Started by  JS232 How does one boot the AM3703 Torpedo from SD Card with the filesystem residing on the SD Card (and not copied to RAM nor residing on the NAND). 1) How do I configure ltib to build this SD Card rootfs and kernel image 2) How do I partition and format the SD card to contain both bootloaders, kernel and rootfs. I assume that a FAT32 file system is required as the first partition for the bootloaders and kernel image and a second EXT3 partition for the rootfs. Is there a step-by-step guide exp...

9 Replies and 2132 Views Certification with other WiFi antennas  2132  9 Started by  Deleted User Hello, We want to use this antenna http://www.digikey.de/product-detail/en/FXP840.07.0055B/931-1222-ND/3877414 for 802.11g at 2.4GHz. It has 2.5 dBi gain at 2.4 GHz, and that is in compliance with requirement from Application Note 538  'FCC/IC Certification Guidelines for End Products Using the DM3730/AM3703 Torpedo Wireless SOM'. Can we use this antenna instead of Ethertronics 1000418 antenna, and keep FCC/IC certificates  Regards, Dragan

Especially, the uplink speed (sending from the Torpedo module) is very low. The module is used in the development kit and an antenna is connected to it. Both sides are running iperf version 2.0.5. My measurement results are the following: iperf -i 5 -t 30 -c 192.168.254.101 -r -w 128K ------------------------------------------------------------ Server listening on TCP port 5001 TCP...

1 Replies and 1488 Views DM3730 Bluetooth Erratta Update  1488  1 Started by  Chris Cope Hi   During our investigations into the Bluetooth performance of the DM3730 Torpedo module, we have come across numerous references on these technical forums to potential errattas for the DM3730 Bluetooth interface.  Currently we are achieving low data rates of around 5KB/s for the Bluetooth interface using RFCOMM and are concerned that we are being affected by a potential erratta issue. Firstly, is there an update to the 'known issue with the oscillator on the SOM' that is mentione...
