Torpedo SOM Development Kit Will Not Power On 1221 1
Started by Brett Brotherton
Greetings,
We recently purchased two PD Logic Torpedo Development Kits from Digikey (MPN: SDK-OMAP3530-20-128256R-E) and have had problems with both kits powering on. We have followed the Quick Start Guide and User's Manual available from the site.
One of the units was recovered by holding S4 while powering on and now appears to be stable. The other unit will start to boot (power LED, flashing between LED1 and LED2) but stops after three flash cycles. It will then attempt the...

Add custom init script 1489 3
Started by jd1234
Hi,
I want to customize demo distro to add a custom script that will initialize a few things, e.g. Bluetooth interface. Also, I would like to run my own application after booting process finishes. I wonder how to proceed.
I have checked UG section 9.2, but I am not sure if my requirement should be treated as 'add service' or not. Also, it looks like I eventually need to modify rc.d file in the file system to run my script at boot-time.
Can someone help
Thanks.

charging battery from SOM 1540 1

Dear Support,
I am interested in using the onboard Wireless Torpedo SOM's capabilities for charging a lithium battery on a custom base board. The schematics for the development kit (BCI page) outline several parts to either populate or de-populate for enabling battery charging capabilities on the SOM. I have implemented these changes, but am not seeing the battery charge. Are there console commands or code that needs to be used to hav...

From Zoom™ DM3730 Torpedo Development Kit User Guide:
13.1.1 Battery Charging
The battery can be charged through either the 5V DC input (J18) or the USB1_VBUS input (J19).
Charging through the 5V DC input is done automatically when the 5V power supply is connected

software to enable USB charging.
According to the user guide, charging through USB1_VB...
