DM37x Linux BSP 2.4-3 failed building DirectFB 1605 3
Started by Daniel Darden
I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 natively. I unpacked 1026167_LogicPD_Linux_BSP_2.4-3.tar, and ran ltib_setup.sh successfully. Tried running ltib -b --preconfig config/platform/omap_logic/defconfig, and it fails to build DirectFB. Error output shown below. Any ideas

Android 4.0.4 performance issue with DM3730 1473 1
Started by Faizal Abdeen
Has anyone else noticed performance issues with Android 4.0.4 on DM3730 We are trying out the 512MB/512MB variant with a display of 1024x76824bpp. Issues range from sluggishness, excessive CPU utilization to spontaneous app crashes. Our experience with the GingerBread BSP has been so far positive. Is this platform not suitable for Android 4.0.4

Keepout area under SOM (dev board does not match docs) 1433 3
Started by Ryan Crowell
In Rev F of the DM3730/AM3703 Torpedo Wireless SOM Hardware Specification, note 2 on the mechanical drawings says 'DO NOT PLACE ANY COMPONENTS OR EXPOSED VIAS WITHIN LAYOUT AREA OF SOM'. On the dev board that we bought, however, there is no soldermask beneath the SOM and there are many exposed signal and power vias which are confined to the area immediately adjacent to the 100-pin connectors.
Can someone please clarify the note 2 requirements
Thank you.

Ethernet bridge/EEPROM on Torpedo Launcher 3 1716 1
Started by Gary Rosen
I have the schematic to the Torpedo Launcher 3 baseboard from the Torpedo development kit. The board uses a LAN9221 to achieve Ethernet connectivity and we plan on using this in our custom design. A small EEPROM, the AT93C46 from Atmel is attached through a 3-wire port, presumably to store the MAC address. However the data sheet for the LAN9221 specifies a clock rate of approximately 900 kHz for this port (EECLK cycle time ~= 1120 ns) while the data sheet for the AT9...
