JTAG 181 1
Started by John Woods
I&39;m trying to disable the JTAG for production units but it is not clear from the TRM how to do this. I&39;ve tried disabling via
CM_CLKEN_PLL(PWRDN_EMU_CORE:12) = 1
CM_CLKEN_PLL(PWRDN_EMU_PERIPH:31) = 1
via U-boot but openocd still connects to the SOM/JTAG.

When I build the kernel and follow the instructions for an SD Card boot using the development board the boot errors out with:

DM3730 ADC on Battery 662 1
Started by David Simmons
When USB is connected, I am able to set the CARKIT_ANA_CTRL register such that the analog pins 3-6 are connected to the ADC, and can read good values on ADCIN3 as expected. However, when USB is not connected, and I am running off battery power only, I cannot manipulate the CARKIT_ANA_CTRL register. That register always reads 0x20, and I can&39;t change it.

Audio on BT headphone on DM3730 805 0
Started by Sergey Brandis
Hello, everyone!
We want to transfer audio from DM3730 to BT headset under Linux OS(under our project). That&39;s why we create a project on C/C with library bluez. For now, we have successfully developed a connection establishing code and RFCOMM link connection.
AFAIK next step is SCO socket link establishment (am I right)
We would like to use A2DP (source). But we can&39;t transfer audio buffer(data) to BT headset. Maybe somebody has a similar...

DM3730 Torpedo with MT9J003 image sensor 759 4
Started by Ryan Crowell
We are interested in using the On Semiconductor MT9J003 image sensor with the DM3730 Torpeo SOM, and would like to gauge how much work this is going to be. I believe the MT9P031 sensor is fully supported "out of the box", and the MT9J003 and MT9P031 sensors are similar to each other, though there are significant differences in the control register addressing.
I have seen references to Linux drivers for the MT9J003, though I&39;m not sure if there are any "offic...

Accessing SPI on DM37xx dev board - Linux 976 4
Started by Pratik Saripalli
I am new to the platform and I am a little overwhelmed by the documents and I am having trouble getting my spi sensor to work.
I&39;m running Linux 12.04 on the Torpedo with BSP 2.4-4.
have been using spi-test as a base to try to understand and connect to my sensor. Initially i could not get spi-test to run the Acitivity board on SPI3 so I changed the dev to "spidev1.1" so that is would work on SPI1 and connect the SPI_CS1 for the chip select. I am then trying to modify the code...

OVM7692 camera interface with DM3730 Torpedo Kit 3063 23
Started by Sibey
Hi,
We want to connect a OVM7692 camera to a DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit. I need few clarifications:
1) Can we connect the OVM7692 camera to the DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit OR do we need to use a OVM7692 camera development board
1) OVM7692 powers supply is a 2.8V but the DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit uses 1.8V Do we need a adapter board to connect the OVM7692 camera with the DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit
3) Is there LInux BSP driver code changes ...

DM3730 USB OTG with 1.1 Speed Storage 1057 0
Started by Joshua Pagnotta
I am having issues when attempting to transfer a file to a storage device connected to the USB OTG port running at "full speed (1.1)". The drive shows up correctly when it is connected to the system and I am able to view the files that reside on this drive. When I attempt to move a file from the rootfs to the external storage drive everything connected to the USB OTG is disconnected and does not recover. This happens every time for USB 1.1 storage. The same attempt with a USB 2.0 stora...

Channel 11 WiFi not working 843 1
Started by Joshua Pagnotta
We tried to update our hostapd config (we use the wireless performance base config for the BSP) to run on different wifi channels but noticed when trying channel 11 it does not work (we never see an SSID broadcast). It&39;s not readily apparent why this channel does not work as there are no errors indicating an issue, it just doesn&39;t create a WiFi network that we can see. Does channel 11 work with on the Torpedo SOM with the wifi performance BSP config

Camera devKit 5640 with DM3730 Torpedo Kit 1156 2
Started by Sibey
Hi,
We want to connect a OV5640 camera board(https://www.waveshare.com/ov5640-camera-board-a.htm) to the DM3730 Torpedo Kit via camera connector.
1) Looking at the schematic, the camera input pin on the 26-pin connector is 5V but the OV5640 accepts 3.3V voltage.Hence planning to power 3.3V externally(from outside) to the OV5640 camera board. The other data lines and SCL,SDA line will be conencted to the DM3730 Torpedo Kit. Can we go ahead with this approach

I&39;m using Wattson successfully, but would like to compare me readings to expeted voltage/current/power readings in full-load and no-load states. I haven&39;t found default values in any of the literature. Can anybody point me to the proper document Or perhaps provide numbers from their own experience I&39;m working with the DM3730 Torpedo.

Future Torpedo SoM Iterations? 966 0
Started by Kevin Farley
I heard a rumor that there was consideration to make a "Torpedo SoM 2" so-to-speak. A second iteration of sorts which would have newer / better specs and support full features (i.e. DSP) for newer kernels etc.
Is this true Are there any plans for a new system iteration of similar design to the Torpedo SoM If there are such plans would it include DSP integration for newer kernels And when would such a product potentially release
