    Just checking to see if anyone here has had any PPP over serial experience...
    What is the process to set up a PPP direct connection over one of the UARTs in Windows CE? I think I have included all the necessary components in my platform, but no UARTs show up when I try to make a New Connection via direct connection in control pannel.

    Also, I would like to have the connection established on start up.

    I added the following to my registry in order to get my serial Port recognized as a RAS capable device...
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Serial_1]
    "Tsp"="Unimodem.dll"
    "DeviceType"="RASDT_Direct"
    "FriendlyName"="Serial Cable on COM2"
    "DevConfig"=hex: 10, 00, 00, 00, 05, 00, 00, 00, 10, 01, 00, 00, 00,4B, 00, 00, 00, 00, 08, 00, 00, 00, 00, 00, 00

    It works in the sense that when I go to set up a direct connection I see "Serial Cable on COM2" but unfortunately I cannot establish a direct connection to my PC... even though I see that the target device does send a CLIENT message to the PC.

    Furthermore ActiveSync stops working when I add this entry....
