    Hi,

I was able to get Wattson running successfully on Windows, but am hoping to get it running on 16.04 or 12.04 (it says it's only compatible with 10.04). I am able to get the program running, but all of the text/images display as gibberish - a bunch of rectangles instead. Does anyone know the specifics of which packages, etc. I might need to get Wattson working on those platforms? Thank you!

    Steve,

We have an update pending that works with 12.04 through 18.04. We're waiting for a few circuit boards to come in hopefully this week or next. Once those boards arrive, we can run final testing on Wattson and release it. The issue in Wattson has to do with some deprecated libraries that have since been updated inside Wattson.

I'll put in a request to see if we accelerate the release.

    Steve,

I've send the internal release to a coworker for verification testing this morning. If all goes well, I'll send you the pre-release of Wattson 1.1 which should work on Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04.

We're still working through some bugs we discovered yesterday, so it may be a few more days until we can have something, but we are actively working on it.

    Steve,

Did you receive the Wattson files I e-mailed to you? I was curious to know how it worked for you on either 16.04 and 18.04
