Is there any issues with power sequencing on the SOM6748? Near as I can tell, the SOM only requires an external 5 volt supply, but is there something I'm missing here? My first spin proto-type board using the SOM6748, everything worked: SATA, Ethernet, Emulator, USB, I2C, UPP...

My second spin proto-type board, the Emulator and I2C work, but the SATA, Ethernet and USB do not work. The only thing that has changes was the new board layout (all SOM connections remain the same near as I can tell) and I switched to a PC ATA power supply verses using a 12 volt power brick with on board LDO power supplies.

Using the emulator, I can load and run the same Ethernet test with internal loop back. And it runs and works correctly with my 1st proto-type board. But with the 2nd spin board, the test fails with "failed to connect to phy, error initializing emac." Near as I can tell, this test is all internal to the SOM, so it appears that something very fundamentally is wrong.

    Any thoughts? Anyone?

Thanks for your help in advance!

    Randy
