DM3730/AM3703 Torpedo™ + Wireless SOM End of Life Notification

An End of Life announcement for the DM3730/AM3703-31 Torpedo + Wireless SOM has been released. This PCN explains the discontinuation of the current -31 models of the DM3730/AM3703 Torpedo + Wireless SOMs due to the obsolescence of the wireless radio module included in the SOMs and the introduction of the -32 models.

You can download this document from the DM3730/AM3703 Torpedo + Wireless SOM product page on Logic PD's support site or at:

I Noticed in the document that the final dimensions are TBD. While I understand the exact dimensions are not known, I was wondering if you could provide a rough estimate in the increase in size.

    Thank you in advance.

    Jared,

The only dimension that is changing is the edge with the feet on the bottom. Currently, the feet extend beyond the edge of the current board. We trying to keep the board edge from going any farther than the edge of the feet do currently.

We are not moving the feet or the mounting sockets.

We should have more information soon as the board is currently in the layout phase right now.
