    Makoto,

    Check http://support.logicpd.com/DesktopM...ntryId=762

We don't have any explicit SSD code, but in the zip file above, there are some SATA testing examples to try. If the link is broken, you may have to register your development kit or SOM in order to access the files.

    Hello Adam

    Sorry.

    I have found   SATA  exaples,

but  examples are tests of spin up  for an SATA HDD and  are not test of writing/reading a STA HDD/SSD.

Do you have another test samples of writing/reading an SATA HDD or SSD ?

    Makoto

I haven't forgotten about you, but I had to do look up some information.

Are you using Linux? If you are using our Linux BSP, you'll want to make sure that you've compiled in SATA support using the make menuconfig option.

Have you tried reading/writing to a standard SATA HDD? I was curious to know if the issues you are having are limited to SSD or HDD as well.

If you are using a different SOM than the one that came with the base board, it is possible that it may not have SATA support.  For people wanting SATA support, we are recommending the L-138 instead as we have discontinued all the AM1808 SOMs with SATA support.

Can you tell me the part number from your SOM?  I should start with 100, 101 or 102...  that will help me determine if the SOM supports SATA.

    Thank you,

    adam
