Can the Torpedo module support WXGA resolution over LVDS in Linux?  The DM3730 hardware appears to support it.  We are currently using a
SOMDM3730-20-2780AGCR with an XGA display and would like to reuse the hardware for a WXGA panel.

    Hi Daniel,
I'm looking into the WXGA support. Though the HW does support WXGA, to my knowledge our STP only tests up to XGA. Also, there is no built in LVDS output. What solution are you using to generate your LVDS signals?

    Thanks,

    Thank you.

We are using TI DS90C1858 to convert the RGB data lines to LVDS.  We are using 16-bit color, but would like to upgrade to 24 bit.  Another question - is 24 bit color depth possible with either resolution in our environment?
