On my board I2C-1 and I2C-3 buses both come up fine.
I am hoping to add a device to the I2C-2 bus.
It looks like the pinconfig in the u-boot is correct.
All I2C tools have been enabled in the linux kernel.

Q: is there anything else that needs to be done in the linux kernel (or u-boot) to enable the i2c-2 bus?

Q: does there need to be an active device on the bus in order the i2c-2 bus to be active (aka show up in my /dev list of devices)? Currently /dev/i2c-1 and /dev/i2c-2 show up?

    any suggestions are appreciated.

    Hi everyone,

I have the same issue. I want to use the parallel camera interface for Android and I need I2C-2 bus, but the pin SCL always stuck low. I have been looking in u-boot and kernel files but I don't see anything to change this situation.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Regards,

    Marc.

i had the same problem. Updating my kernel to version 3.0.0-BSP-dm37x-2.3-2 fixed it.
