    Based on the threads here:
    http://www.logicpd.com/support/tdg/viewtopic.php?t=164
    and here:
    http://www.logicpd.com/support/tdg/viewtopic.php?t=206

I tried to use DirectDraw against LCDC rel 100.

Calls to DirectDrawCreate() return the error code
    DDERR_NODIRECTDRAWSUPPORT.

This apparently means that the LCDC implements GPE and not DDGPE,
and DDGPE is required for even rudimentary DirectDraw.

    Is this correct?

Are there any plans to add DDGPE support?

    Ted,
You are exactly right. The driver does not suport DirectX currently.

At the time the driver was developed, it was believed that it would work with DirectX, although since the LH7A400 LCD controller has no actual hardware accelaration that can be taken advantage of, there was no further development with it.

We would like to make the necessary modifications to the driver so that it can work with DirectX but we do not have any specific dates for this release.
