    Hi,
I think I killed the basic power-on NVM. I was strictly following the instructions, when for some reason I chose to do:

    >> used serial-boot to get the xloader on to the device.
    >> Saved the xloader on NAND
    >> Used kermit to down load u-boot-LDP_v1.5.bin
    >> Then setup the card to talk to the build system on nfs
    >> Downloaded the kernel i built using the distribution from https://omapzoom.org/gf/project/omapkernel/wiki/?pagename=Getting+Stated+with+Linux+OMAP+Kernel
    >> Then tried loading the kernel on NAND, -- gave errors
    >> The executed "nand <some_option>" which listed bad blocks
    >> That told me that the NAND save would not go forward.
    >> So I performed the following two operations:
---- nand unlock ; nand erase clean
    >> then reloaded kernel from host and saved it using "nand write"

And since then, the Zoom is behaving as below:
On power-up, something boots - my suspicion is the kernel.
But does not find something and reboots

Each reboot cycle is about 5 minutes.

Sometimes I can synch with serial-boot loader, and get some part of u-boot. But then the system halts and reboots before u-boot finishes.

    And this repeats for ever.

Is there anyway I can get the system to factory settings?

The SD card that comes with the kit can be booted from. Try booting with the SD card plugged in (assuming you have not changed it). We also put the contents of that SD card on our download site, if you need to recreate it.

You'll at least be able to use LogicLoader (booting from SD) to try to get something back into NAND Flash.
