Is it possible to place the debug console (both uboot and kernel) on the USB OTG port? The 2.4-4 BSP manual for the DM3730 Wireless SOM describes how to switch to a different UART but not how to use USB.

I am not aware of any method to use the USB OTG serial port for debugging, but I will ask some of our software developers if they are aware of anything.

Thanks for the quick reply and for looking into it. I found some references in omap3logic.h (uboot source) to a USB tty device (eg. OMAP3LOGIC_USBTTY) but haven't had any success in getting it to work.

I am looking at some of the TI patches and I see references to usbtty and acm, but the console specified still gets routed to ttyO0 or ttyS0 depending on the configuration.
