The problem is believed to be related to the Wiggler not being able to handle the adaptive clocking on the LH75401 ARM7TDMI core.

The Raven has not proven to work consistently with the LH75401 either.

Logic recommends the ARM Multi-Ice with the LH75401. It works with the LH7A400 and LH79520 as well.

We have the wiggler working here with the LH75401, we needed to get the 20 pins version of the wiggler, we had the 14 pins version that came with the LH79520 (in fact the 2 are the same, only difference is the cable and the internal connection of the cable).
Using OCDCommander it is possible to single step through the code etc..

    HanHoekstra,

How has your experience been using Macraigor Tools with the LH75401 card engine?

Are there any tips or procedures you could post to this forum that might aid other developers with using their JTAG with the 5401?

    Thank you,

Ehm, I have to change my oppinion on the Macraigor Wiggler. It seems to work a lot of times when you have some proper code running in the LH75401. With proper I mean code that is initialising everything to the correct settings, in our case that would be Bolo/Lolo. As soon as they are gone you're in trouble.

The same seems to be true for the LH79520, which we have ordered with a Wiggler, but this combination sometimes has problems working aswell...

Make sure Bolo/Lolo don't get erased and even then it does not work perfectly. We have switched to a Lauterbach debugger, this one seems to work perfect.
