    I thought that a development kit would come with an assembler.

    I do all my work in assembly, and I'm happy to work the registers from scratch but it would be nice to have a starting point.

    On my wish list is assembly routines for:

    LCD 64k 320x240
    Jpeg to BMP converter
    Serial Port
    Ram and Flash initialisation routines, eg setting the type of ram etc.
    Ram and Flash testing routines
    USB routines but not so important

    Is there a register config file specific to the 7A404?

    Under software development the CD shipped is empty except for TeraTerm

    Hello Nix,

    The LH7A404-10 you've received is pre-release. Being as such some of the software development tools still have to be completed.

    A good place to look for peripheral headers and include
    files would be sharp's support site. If they're not posted
    there, ask around, I'm sure they exist.
