I'm FAE in NXP Semiconductors Japan. my Div. is MCU. I have 3 'LH7A404 Card Engine Development Kits'. However, the Register Production is not yet. I only login the your web sit. Therefore, I cannot dowload some information from web sit. so the schematic cannot be downloaded. I feel that I need 'Register Production ' operation. But, current 'Select Production' does not contain 'LH7A404 Card engine Development Kit'. Although I know it is 'End of Life', I need your help. please let me know ho...

USB Sharp Sync Driver - Update for Windows 8? 2689 1

I am aware that I have to use Windows Device Connection Manager on my Windows 8 PC as ActiveSync is no longer supported. I downloaded and installed that on my Windows 8 laptop and have been able to start that program. When it is started, it shows no device connected, even though I have my card engine running and ActiveSync is up on it (I verified that by connecting the card engine to my Windows XP machine). 2- Run setup.exe

How di I run the bootloader after performing a warm boot 2182 0

I am rebooting a LH7A404 card engine via the warm boot reset pin. On a cold boot the bootloader program runs (which initializes the LCD display and copies the NK.bin file from flash to RAM). On a warm boot, the bootloader does not run.
This causes the LCD screen to go blank. Does anyone know how to execute the bootloader program after a warm boot.

Hello,
I am in the process of updating my PC to Windows Vista, and I have not been able to get the "Windows Mobile Device Center" (Vista's replacement for ActiveSync) to recognize the "Sharp USB Sync" device for the dev board. It shows up in device manager when I plug it in, but I can't sync with it and I can't get Visual Studio 2005 to recognize it. Anyone have any luck with Vista or do I need a new device driver for the board

I have corrupted the bootloader while trying to run linux on the module.
First loaded the apex bootloader,
These where the last words from the module, after resboot it was dead.

What is the date/time limitation. (in SetLocalTime()and OEMSetRealTime() )
it seems to be the year 1980-2099.
entering a year outside this range, the date/time set is be incorrect and
results to be set to sometime in year 2046/2047

spec for i2c driver(smbus) 2529 3

Does any have the spec for the unsupported i2c driver for wince5.0
what I meant is how to use it to read a word from a slave device.
I have a smart battery on the smbus(I believe the i2c driver uses the smbus as the i2c)
and I can transmit to the battery and it ACK back(seeing from the logic analyzer), but the A404 processor said
it didn't get the ACK.
So, I am not sure if this is because I write something wrong or there is still something
wrong with the board(needs pull up resistors)

Hello,
I am just getting started with the SDK and have gone through draw-test with a custom LCD. Everything is fine. Now I have formatted a 2g CF on xp using FAT (not FAT32) and copied some bmps from my pc to cf, inserted the cf into the sdk, rebooted, mounted fatfs /cf (no problems) and below are the results:
losh> mount fatfs /cf
losh> video-init test84 8
video-init display: width: 640 height: 480 bpp: 8 disp: test84
losh> video-open test84 8

I am using the touchscreen with Linux. I run ts_calibrate, but afterwards, when I run ts_test, there is a skew on the right side of the screen. If I just move up and down with the stylus, the cursor moves in an arc. When I first used the touchscreen (two months ago) it worked fine, but now the calibration seems not to work.
Any ideas

Trying to use the Signum JTAGJET emulator to program '404 CardEngine FLASH. Reading and erase works great, however writing only writes every second 16-bit word. I am using a modified '400 SDK macro file that SIGNUM supplies; the mod is to enable 32 MB I have on my CardEngine. I suspect there are subtle differences between the '400 and '404 SMC. If anyone has already done this, can you post the changes, especially how to program the following registers (suspect the problem is in SMC_BCR0 0x8000.2...

I am little suprise that I haven't seen this issue in this group.
I first reported this problem to LogicPd about 4 months ago, but there still isn't a resolution.
Does anyone else realized this problem
I would have thought this is a very serious problem.

I am trying to run a very simple program that sends data out of the TX side of the port and then pauses and reads that data back on the RX side of the same port. The program works as expected on UART3 and I can see the data being sent by using an oscilloscope.
The problem comes when I try the same thing on UART1. The scope shows that the data is being sent but my program waits forever and never sees it. I have looked at the control registers and find that UART1 is enabled and the infra-red opt...

After load Linux kernel successfully ,I plugin the USB into Zoom-LH7A404 board , the message is shown on Tera Term like this :

Hi everybody,
I just started to use an LPD7a404 -10 board and I have troubles in connecting my target with the BDI2000 that is equipped only with BDIpro software (v1.12 -ARM for Windows). I set the jumper for JTAG operation as indicated PN_70000248_REv_b.pdf doc and I tried to configure my BDIPro project following the config file that i found in the LPD7a404 BSP package (bsp/misc/bdi2000/lpd7a404.cfg).
When I try to dump the flash content I get the following message error:
