    Hi,

unfortunately I corrupted bolo and I can't boot the board anymore.
I only found a bootstrap.elf and upd files on the webpage. Loading and executing the bootstrap file seems to initialize the RAM. But how do I get the upd files into flash? My debugger is not capable to program something into flash. What is the way to store bolo/lolo into flash and how do I work with upd files?
Do I miss something? Even the manual about restoring bolo is refering to a file (bolo.elf running in RAM) which I can't find somewhere.

    Any help is very welcome.

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Toralf

    towie,

The file that you need is called bolo_HEAD-pre1.4_LLH7a400_10_LCE_0009_R_strip

It is posted under the all downloads area of your "my account" page on the website. Using this file with the app note AN 248 Restoring a Corrupt Bolo/Lolo with an ARM Multi-ICE JTAG you shouldn't have much of a problem restoring bolo/lolo to your system

However the document is specifically written for an ARM Multi ICE debugger. There will be differences in the procedure that will be specific to your JTAG but the basic idea will be the same. Best of luck.

    Aaron,

thanks. The bolo-file was missing in the download area. Now it is there and I got it.

I'm implementing an own bootloader for our RTOS which seems to have some problems with init of clocks. I used the startup-file from Sharp but there seems to be missing something. When I start the bootstrap first then ist works. When I boot from scratch then it fails to access peripherals on AHB (flash ethernet). SO I gues it is related to clocks.

Is it possbile to get the source from the bootstrap loader to see was is done there?

    Thanks.
