ARM side of OMAP L138 1813 2
Started by Deleted User
Hi,
I just bought an eXprimenter OMAP-L138 kit. The DSP side comes along quickly thru CCS. How can I access the ARM side using CCS, or any other ways I do not have any separate emulator or JTAG debugger.
Thanks in advance for any help on this subject.
Best,
Imangh

Customer is trying to interface the OMAP-L138/TMS320C6748 EVM board made by Logic PD with TI ADS1601 data converter EVM. Any one knows of over the shelf daughter card or plug in card that can make the interface via the McBSP or McASP peripherals or any other of the OMAP L138 board. Thanks.

Unable to NFS Mount to Linux Host 1770 0
Started by Scott Harris
I received my kit and it boots Linux fine. However, I have been unable to do an NFS mount to my host Ubuntu 10.10 Linux system (LNX1). I HAVE been able to remotely mount to the Linux host (LNX1) using other Linux boxes, so I am fairly confident that the host NFS server is setup correctly. When I try to mount from the kit it takes a very long time (~5 minutes) for a series of timeouts to occur before I get the prompt back again. Here's the output on the console:
rootarago:/ pwd
/

I would like to toggle GPIO signals to measure timing information. On the board (not the SOM) there are many test points near the SOM connector. Is there any documentation on what signals (or freon pin) these test points correspond to

OMAP L 138 Experimenters Kit printenv screen shot 1424 0
Started by Joseph Meditz
have a LogicPD OMAP L138 Experimenter's kit and making progress on getting TPFT to work. Before I saved environment variables on the target's flash I did not write down the original factory settings. I wonder if a member of this community would be so kind as to provide the original settings as obtained from printenv
Best regads
Joe
PS: I've tried posting this question on TI e2e. I would like to be able to be able to boot from flash and have access to the directories.

I have been working with the OMAPL138 Experimenter kit (and EVM) for the past year but all that time I had been working with PSP version .06. Now I am trying to update to PSP .12 and having some issues. Any advice would be appreciated.
I have fabricated my own board for the OMAPL138 64Meg SOM to connect to. This board does not have all the functionality of the experimenter kit. It does not have the audio codec. It does not have the I/O expander chip for LEDS and Switches. It also doe...

What logic family is compatible with expansion connectors? 1592 1

I need to interface to the expansion connectors on the experimenter kit (specifically the audio expansion connector, J30). And I need logic gates (AND, OR, FLIP-FLOPS) to interface with that.
What logic family should I use for the interface (TTL CMOS Low voltage CMOS etc.)
At what voltage (5V 3.3V 1.8V)

I recently received my board and went through the QuickStart procedure. Everything works just fine there.
Now I want to configure my host as an NFS server and boot the u-Boot kernel image (uImage) via TFTP. I had to configure my u-Boot settings to use static IP (not sure why I couldn't get DHCP to work). My boot-up process seems to load the uImage just fine, but stops at the "Sending DHCP requests ..."
Not sure if I have to reconfigure the kernel or if this is an NFS issue. I a...

Accessing the ARM926EJ-S core from a Windows machine 1545 2
Started by ailson
Hello,
Is there a away (or ways) of developing for and accessing (downloading) the ARM core for a Logic's ZOOM OMAP-L138 SOM M1 eXperimenters Kit from a Windows Vista machine TI says this module has a XDS100 USB emulator version 1, which cannot access the ARM core, only XDS100 USB v2.
What can I do to develop for the ARM (preferably using CCS 3.3 and Windows) in the eXperimenters Kit without having to buy an external emulator
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Ailson

We bought OMAP L138 experimenter kit and 6.4" LCD. There was no CD found along with the consignment. Where do we find the Linux source and BSP for the same. TI at India when contracted though could provide a version of Linux, the a suitable BSP which could support the LCD that we bought was not available with them.
