C6748 Boot from Rev C SOM 3533 2
Started by SuperSlacker
Hello,
I&39;m currently using a Zoom OmapL138 experimenter from LogicPD and have run into an issue burning code to the chip. I&39;ve followed the steps outlined in the application note "AN523 Creating Standalone Sample Application" at https://support.logicpd.com/Product...rKit).aspx
Burning a C6748 only SOM (LogicPD Rev A) with the led blink code seems to work just fine using Aisgen 1.9 when setting the device type to d800k006 DSP to create config.cfg file then...

3.3V_or_1.8V: How much current is available for user circuits 3013 6
Started by Scott Battocchi
The OMAP-L138 SOM-M1 Hardware Specification / Hardware Documentation cautions that for the 3.3V_or_1.8V voltage rail:'I/O Voltage Output from SOM. Do not use this as a general purpose power source. Use this pin to power level shifters etc.'
Looking at the schematic it seems like the TPS65070 DCDC2 channel can supply 1.5A of output current. I would like to use the 3.3V_or_1.8V rail to power a couple of circuits that do not provide a separate IOV/VDDIO pin:
A micr...

So do you have some examples to read and write sata based on these above And I need a sata example which works in DSP/BIOS, because I need to creat tasks to accomplish other function. I am very confused and Please h...

Make a copy of SOMXOMAPL 138-10 3085 1
Started by Trey Weaver
I have a zoom kit (TMDXL138LOGICEXP-B) and some OMAP 138-10 SOMs (SOMXOMAPL138-10-1602AHCR-B).
I want to make a copy of the code on one SOM that has been programmed correctly and then program several more with this same code.
When I found the zoom board I did not find any software with it (the people before me lost it). What software do I need to do this and where can I get it
Thanks,

Power Rails 2253 1
Started by Rodney Wong
In the schematic for this board, I found some power rails that don't have sources:
1. IO_3.3V_1.8V
2. M_IO_3.3V_1.8V
3. uP_5V
4. SDO_VCC
Are the sources for these rails different than the main sources:
1. 1.8V
2. 3.3V
3. 5V
4. MAIN_BATTERY_IN
5. 5VIN
6. BATT_IN
Regards,
- Rodney

Linux kernel on OMAP-L138 (experimenter kit) 3167 1
Started by Henk Hakkesteegt
We would like to run our software under a Linux kernel on the OMAP-L138 (not on the external SD-card). We have an OMAP-L138 eXperimenter Kit with C674x DSP and started trying out some manuals for loading kernels (and later software) on the device, but ran into some trouble. Herewith some observations:
- In manual 1021604B_AM1808_OMAP-L138_Linux_User_Guide we used the provided Virtual Machine SDK. In paragraph 6.2 we flash the UBL and...

Need access to eXeperimenter kit's BSL 2852 5

Hi,
I am a student from Case Western Reserve University. We are now doing our senior project using a OMAP LCDK board bought from TI and we also have a book Digital Signal Processing and Applications with the OMAP-L138 eXperimenter (2012). The books use originally used the OMAP-L138 eXeperimenter kit from logic PD but also modified some files provided by that book to be compatible with the OMAP-L138 LCDK. However, we couldn't run the examples in the book without the BSL of OMAP-L138 eX...

Dear all,
We are generating stereo sinewave signals on SIMULINK of 1KHz and 2KHz frequencies
with a sampling rate of 44.1 KHz using the full range of INT16 values
but the signals are generated very very noisy as shown in the attached image from the oscilloscope. We have also tested other frequency,
sampling rate and amplitude settings but the same problem exists.
Is there any suggestion on what we should do to solve this probl...
