    Hi all,

We are facing a problem while powering up the board SDK-LH7A400-10.
We are not getting the prompt on the tera terminal as per the user manual.

We have done the settings according to the manual to as follows:
    Baud Rate: 115200
    Data Bits: 8
    Stop Bit: 1
    Parity: None
    Flow Control: None

Even the jumper settings are in Normal Mode.

On power up the STATUS LED 0 glows.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanx in advance.

    Hello Lawrileo,

Thanks for your question. Can you please provide the following information:

    1. Part and Serial numbers from Card engine and SDK Application board. The part number is in the form 80000xxx-xxx. Serial number is xxxMxxxxx.

    2. Distributor you purchased product from.

    3. Look on application board. Is C36 populated? If it is are you pressing the NMI-Wakeup button (S2)? The board will not start up without this.

    4. What is the position of the JTAG jumpers (what are J6.1.3.5 and J6.2.4.6 set to)?

    5. Is the card engine inserted properly? The expansion connectors on the
back side of the card engine must be seated properly to the SDK application board. Please remove and reinsert the card engine following the Quickstart Guide Card Engine installation and removal instructions.

    6. Voltages: please verify the following voltages are present on the board:
    pwr supply: 5 V
    LM317: VCore (1.75V)
    LM1086: 3.3V

Please also check the regulators for signs of shorts. If you have an emulator you can connect up and attempt to communicate.

Please let me know what you find out

    Best Regards,
