Q: Is it possible to use Linux DVSDK with Windows.

A: Yes, if you are new to Linux, then I would suggest using the VM[1] that we have setup, which also includes DVSDK. Also, see the README[2] that goes with the VM.

Q: I received SD Card (Linux Demo) in which there is “dvsdk_omapl138-evm_04_03_00_06_setuplinux” file. I understood that this file is setting up with Ubunto 10.04 and I’m using virtual box to do it. A folder is so created which calling “ti-dvsdk_omapl138-evm_04_03_00_06”. What is this folder and how to use it? Can I use it with code composer studio for widows or for Ubunto only?

A: It will only work under Ubuntu 10.04. Again, I would recommend using the VM mentioned above.

Q: I have never worked with Linux OS; could you help me please to understand the whose system about Linux DVSDK because I’ve been losing?

A: Start with the VM[1] and the README[2] and follow the instructions there. If while doing that you have more questions, please post them here and I will help you through it.
