I recently purchased an MCF5474Lite evaluation board from freescale. Using teraterm I could enter dbug just fine. After I set my baud rates, I tried to access LoLo, but when I typed 'go ff840000' the board just hung there not doing anything. I reset the board and tried again and same thing happened. When I did a memory display of ff840000 it looked as if the old LoLo was loaded, version 1.5. I uploaded version 2.0.5 as directed by application note 257, yet LoLo would still not come up. Today I tried to upload version 2.0.4, and when I typed the command 'go ff840000' LoLo did come up as it was supposed to. Unfortunately when I did a system reset and tried to access LoLo again, I could not. I was using dBUG to reload LoLo, and I was using the file denoted by LoLo_0xff840000.srec.
These following commands where the commands I used when I loaded LoLo v2.0.4 in dBUG using teraterm
dl 0x800000
*I then sent the file named 1003686_lolo_0xff840000
Once this was completed I typed in
fl w 0xff840000 0x40000 50000
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I could not figure out the exact length in hex of the file so I used 50000 believing that would be enough to get all the code.
Oh yea the part and serial numbers listed on the white tab are:
