Well I just received my 5484LITEKit today and already have lots of questions. After reading this group I have even more!
I am trying to get lolo to start up. It seems from this group that the entry point has moved. When I do a g 0xff840000 it goes out in the weeds. Tried the other entry suggested in
http://www.logicpd.com/do...76/1000199_Rev_B.pdf but no luck. Tried to download the code and reflash it using freescale tools but the website will not let me have it. (contact webmaster for auth?/) What am I doing wrong?
The real thing I am trying to test is running a PCMCIA bridge chip in the PCI slot. I have a TI1420 (cardbus to PCI bridge chip) but when I plug it into the slot the board will hang at "scanning PCI bridge". A couple times I got a kernel panic and it looked like the IRQ was asserted and pulled it down. Any suggestions?
I am going to head out to my local computer store and get some wireless cards to try in the PCI slot. I would like to get that going then go back to the cardbus bridge. Any suggestions on what has been tested in the slot? I see the kernel has been built by default with PCI and Prisim support.
For software I am running the metrowerks 2.4.26 BSP (mcf547x_8x-non-pcs_bsp-050321.tar.gz) I can not figure out what rev board I have. The barcode on the board is broken in 2 stickers and one says rev 1 (nothing like the picture you have on the web site)? The S/N I used to gain access to this board so you should have it? From the looks of it I think I am s/n #3 and rev 1 board. Not sure if that is good or bad?
Any help would be great.... thanks
