We are using the torpedo, SOMDM3730-20-1880AGIR on a very small custom carrier board without an SD slot. The SOM's are being installed onto the carrier board and I need to get u-boot loaded when the SOM only has LoLo installed.

I apologize in that this forum does not seem to want to let me post my entire message so I apparently have to do it in pieces.

My initial thought was to load u-boot into ram and then execute it. That would allow me to use our normal procedure for loading MLO and u-boot into NAND. I'm trying the following steps.

Ideally the procedure does not involve removing the SOM and flashing it from the dev kit

Which version of U-Boot were you wanting to use? I am running some tests, but I am running into similar issues, but before I go too far, I want to make sure I'm using the version you want. Did you want the 2011.06 version from BSP 2.4-4, or are you using a newer version from our newer BSP's?
