    Q: Why doesn’t my PXA270 Windows CE image connect over ActiveSync?

    A:
    While the USB Function driver is a BUS only driver, we include USB Client registry
    entries to provide a place to define what type of USB Function Client the device will
    be used as. The following are the currently supported mutually exclusive options:

    To enable USB ActiveSync functionality the following Catalog Items must be enabled:

    ".\Shell and User Interface\User Interface\Network User Interface"
    ".\Applications - End User\ActiveSync"
    ".\Device Drivers\USB Function\USB Function Clients\Serial"

    To enable USB Mass Storage functionality the following must be enabled:

    Feature requirements:

    An accessible storage device (i.e. Compact Flash).
    A valid File System for the storage device.
    * Catalog Item(s):
    ".\Device Drivers\USB Function\USB Function Clients\Mass Storage"
