It would seem as if the PXA270-10 Zoom SDK does not take advantage of the PXA270 CF interface - rather, it decodes the CF at address 0x14000000 .

Unfortunately, little else is documented wrt CF interface, making custom access a non-attractive task....

I would appreciate further details on CF interface.

    Many thanks in advance.

The interface on the SDK is a memory mapped one that we create with the onboard CPLD. This slot is to be used as an internal memory card only for a product. This slot is not hot-swappable, as it is just memory mapped and there is no buffering/power switching.

The PXA270's PCMCIA/CF interface is supported by the card engine. We have a reference design for a single slot CF. We simply did not bring out this functionality on the SDK board. It looks like this reference design is not posted currently, I'll check into it. For the time being, if you want to take a look, send an email to platformsupport@logicpd.com and ask for the Single Slot CF ref design.

Technically, the card engine can support 3 slots (1 memory only, 2 hot-swap I/O slots) Using the PXA270's PCMCIA interface for dual-slot has not been verified yet. We have dual slot working on other card engines with the same type of interface though.

    What OS are you using?

    Thanks,
    -Mike
