How can I use both PCI slots of the M5485EVB? Is there a riser card which extends the bus to two new slots?

I found a card from Via, but this card works supposedly only with Via Epedia boards.

    Hello,

A PCI riser card should work fine. The riser card that you're using may have a clock limitation so you'll want to keep an eye out for that.

    Thanks,

The cards from the following link should have the functionality that you are looking for:

Which one should work? A passiv one like MRC-PCI3 with an aditional adapter cable or a riser card with a pci bridge like RC2-019. Is the adapter cable necessary when I am using a passiv card?

PCITX4-2 should work for your needs.

Do I need two riser cards for each board? One for the first slot and one for the second? Which ITX Case will fit for this combination? We have the following one:

You will need two right angle cards of differing heights to fit in your case. In the past I have seen the Mini ITX case manufacture provide the proper riser cards for the case.

If you already have the case and don't have the riser cards, you'll have to do some homework and figure out the proper riser dimensions.
