    Hello,
I have recently gotten a ZOOM iMX27 Litekit and have managed to download and install CygWin and the GNU tools. Managed to run the make for the sample application and find no option in the menu for iMX27. I did select iMX31 and it built with no errors but I gather this is an entirely different ARM core. Is there no sample application for the iMX27. Could use some advice.

So where did you get the sample application?
I couldn't locate it and it wasn't present in the download options for my account as far as I could tell.

    Thanks,
    Thilo

    Thilo,
I went to the home page and somehow got the info on iMX31 and downloaded its sample thinking the two platforms might be similar. But I was wrong.

    Don,

The Sample App for the 31 won't work properly on the 27 without modification. One of the SW guys has been tasked with porting it over. That should happen shortly and be posted to the web site. The same is true of a LoLo update and all the HW docs.
    Thanks for your patience.

Could you at least point me at the sample application for the imx31 - I'm unable to download that as it doesn't show up in my list of downloads.
Porting it shouldn't be too hard ...

Also where is the current binary for LOSH for uploading if I brick the imx27lite board?

    Tim.

I'm sorry Tim. On our web site, we separate our product files based on the development kit. This is because each silicon partner has different requirements about what we need to post. Some products have proprietary files that are only to be available to people that have registered that product.

I tested a version of the i.MX27 Sample application late yesterday, so now they have to update the folder and package it up for the web drop. The LoLo update is also in the works, I have not yet seen the release candidate.

If you have issues you can always go to our support page and fill out an Ask A Question form. The TDG is monitored, but every question is not necessarily answered by Logic staff. We mostly try to stay out of your way. If you have a specific question for us, Ask A question is the way to go.

    Thanks
