    Hello,

I'm not able to get an usb device working on the imx31 lite board.
But i have the freescale linux operating system working as descriped on this forum in topic 1074.

the command dmesg | grep -i usb in my terminal gives the following messages:

    usb: Host 1 registered
    usb: Host 1 registered
    usb: OTG HS Host registered
    usb: OTG HS Gadget registered
usbcore: registered new interface driver usbfs
usbcore: registered new interface driver hub
usbcore: registered new device driver usb
    usbmon: debugfs is not available
    Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage
    USB Mass Storage support registered.

but when connecting an usb mass storage device, absolutely nothing happens.
So my question: How do I enable the usb host controller, so it automatically loads the driver when connecting an usb device?

    Response will be appreciated

I could solve this problem by applying USB related patches from Timesys as suggested by LogicPD
