    I'm a new user and I have a Compact flash that stores NK.bin file and Works in another devices; when I insert it into the slot and try to mount:

    losh> mount fatfs /fs
    timeout resetting cf card
    error: mount: failed to open (ATA)

    Any Idea?

    jalcom,

    Are you using LoLo 2.3.5? If so it may take 2 attempts to mount the CF card. Try hitting the up arrow (recalling the last command) and hitting enter. Sometimes you need a delay in between attempts.

    a script with:

    mount fatfs /cf;
    sleep 2500;
    mount fatfs /cf;

    has worked in most cases.

    Thanks

    I did it the second time, but still doesn't work, see:

    losh> mount fatfs /cf
    timeout resetting cf card
    error: mount: failed to open (ATA)
    losh> sleep 2500
    losh> mount fatfs /cf
    fatfs_init: bad partition magic (00 00)

    jalcom,

    What is the serial number on your SOM? If you have a Pilot or Production kit, then LoLo 2.3.5-p2 is the most current version. If you have an older Beta kit then you'll have to update "back" to LoLo 2.3.3.

    If you have registered your kit you can view the Kit and SOM PCNs -

    http://www.logicpd.com/do..._iMX_LITEKIT_PCN.pdf
    http://www.logicpd.com/do...07833D_iMX31_PCN.pdf

    After you verify that you have the correct LoLo for your Board Version, please verify this happens on more than one CF card. If everything else is correct and this happens consistently for you on multiple cards, you can try reseating the SOM. It has been known to solve connection issues.

    Let me know if you are still having issues.
    Thanks

    The number is xxxxxxxx; I think that I have the correct LoLo's version (2.3.5-p2). I will verify if this happens with the others CF Cards. But, if the error persists, How can I reset the SOM?

    (Edit: Serial number removed by moderator)

    jalcom,

    If you have registered your kit you can go to: http://www.logicpd.com/support/askaquestion.php

    And submit this. We can follow up there.

    I was trying with a CF of 1Gb and It doesn't work; but I try with one of 128Mb and It works fine. Is there any restriction with the CF's capacity?

    jalcom,

    Not a hard limit. Some of the larger cards work just fine. We have had the best results on cards 1G and up when they are "industrial" cards.

    I'm glad you found one that works. I have several standard SanDisk 512MB cards and they work well.

    Thanks
