    Dear Sirs

    Is LoLo´s test-mem reliable enough to assure that the DDR ram is 100% operational?

    I did a script where I runned 100 loops of test-mem over DDR ram without a single error:
    test = 100
    while( $test )
    test-mem
    test = $test-1
    done

    After that, I tryed to decompress a Linux image into the DDR RAM, but a CRC error showed up.

    This Linux image was downloaded through Ethernet and RS232 using LoLo. Both downloaded without any error.

    In time, I have 2 Litekits. The first ( where the CRC error occurs ) I did a LoLo recover using a Macraigor´s USB2Sprite JTAG interface and Flash Programmer. The second is a fresh one, untouched.

    The second unit (new one ) accepts the Linux image decompressing without error and the Linux boots normally.

    If I have a defective unit in the DDR RAM ( first one ), why the TEST-MEM does normally in it?

    Or, something else must be done in the LoLo´s environment? I mean, some YAFFS adjustments? If so, where I must adjust?

    Thanks a lot for any help
