I haven't been able to find many nice command line tools for doing the v4l2 command line capture without requiring a lot of additional libraries. I'm currently using VideoDog-0.31 to do capture of a few frames and it works ok.

    alaganraj.s,

You said that you are using the MT9D131C12STCH family of image sensors. Did you develop the driver from scratch, or were you able to find a starting point somewhere? I am using the same sensor family, and have not found anything other than freescale's BSP which includes a camera which uses the MT9V111 sensor.
