    Hello. I imagine anyone who has purchased a kit/module can answer this for me.

    - Does the MIMX31CSOM module come with the i.MX31 or i.MX31L chip? I really want to have access to the 3D core for my purposes.
    - If I buy just the module, do I still have access to all the resources and downloads membership provides or is that only for people who buy the full kit?

    Hmmn, surprising that no one can answer quickly confirm this for me. I asked because some of the pictures in the pdfs show an i.MX31L processor, but schematics and documents show i.MX31.

    I guess I will find out when my module arrives and hopefully I won't have to return it.

    The development kit and MIMX31CSOM all have the i.MX31 chip. We do not currently ship any part numbers that are I.MX31L processors.

    We did ship some alpha product that had i.MX31 processors mislabeled by Freescale as i.MX31L parts in laser etch, but this was about a year ago....

    If you only buy the module the model/part numbers should work on the website. If they don't we will certainly get you access.
