The initial losh image is missing the registers for customizing the display settings. When is the update for this going to be released?

When running slide-show on my machine, I get lots of noise during the time the image is being swapped. Is there a way to avoid this? What is this noise?

An updated Logicloader version should be available on the website by the end of the day today. An email notification will be sent out.

If you have the time please send a bug report to platformsupport@logicpd.com and we will verify and resolve the issue.

    Thank you,

Contrary to the news, the new logic load is not visible in my download section.

That is correct. 2.3.1 is the latest version, pre-2.4.0 is not.

    ok thanks,
note that the .upd file seems still to be broken. (reporting me "error: update: file for wrong platform")
I had to reflash with "load elf" and burn.

As noted on the i.MX31 splash page there is a readme that will instruct you on how to update logicloader.

    http://www.logicpd.com/co...de/15?referer=i.MX31

    The readme is here.

In regards to the 'noise' you are seeing, this has been verified on larger displays (VGA or larger). This is an issue yet in LogicLoader 2.3.1 and we will be working to fix this as soon as possible. This seems to be happening when accessing slower devices, like Compact Flash, Ethernet, and Flash memory. One possibility is that the wait states for these areas may not be set correctly, or at least that is something we will be reviewing here. This will be fixed, we apologize for how this looks right now.

    Thanks,
    -Mike

Dear Mike, I am not able to see losh on my term tera window. Also GPIO 0 and GPIO1 are not blinking when I connect my iMX31 LiteKIT with the PC. Can you suggest me, what can be the problem ?

The assumption is one of these three things. Please email platformsupport for figuring out your next steps.

    1) Power supply issue - Do you know if you plugged in any power supplies other than the 5V one provided with the kit?

    2) Connections - Can you be sure everything is plugged in properly, including the SOM board?

    3) Overwritten Flash - Were you writing any thing to Flash? If yes, could you have overwritten LogicLoader?

    Hello Mike,

    Thanks for prompt reply!
    1) I am sure I am using same supply as provided.
    2) Connections are right as same setup was working earlier.
    3) I was trying to work with compact flash a month back. That was the last time, I used it. If flash is written or overwritten in the process. is there any way I can recover the board. Is there anyway we can repair it.

    Best regards
    Ajit
