Battery charging issue

    The battery of the board in no more charged. If I plug the USB cable on the host PC, the board will powered after some minutes, the boot starts and stop after 10 s. So the USB can’t seem supplying power to charge the battery.
    Is there any solution to recharge the battery? What kind of USB charger it’s possible to use?

    Hello Emmanuel,

    There is an issue with the battery not charging on the OMAP34 MDK. (as you know)
    We have an appnote with instructions on how to recover the battery on our
    website at:

    Appnote "AN_395_Zoom_OMAP34x_MDK_Battery_Recharging"

    You will need to register your kit, if not done already, to gain access to this site.

    You will also want to download the software update at this same website.
    The software is called, "Bootable microSD Card for OMAP34x MDK".

    Download this appnote, the instructions will get the MDK running with
    the correct software update.
