    When USB is connected, I am able to set the CARKIT_ANA_CTRL register such that the analog pins 3-6 are connected to the ADC, and can read good values on ADCIN3 as expected.  However, when USB is not connected, and I am running off battery power only, I cannot manipulate the CARKIT_ANA_CTRL register.  That register always reads 0x20, and I can't change it.

    Nevermind, after several hours of working on this, I finally found the missing piece. The phy needs to be turned on in the PHY_PWR_CTRL register. Hope this helps anyone else that may be struggling with this.
