Hi Adam,
We have got the camera driver working and see the video. Currently we are using gstreamer on the Torpedo kit to serve the video on TCP port. Instead we are trying for an RTSP video streaming from the Torpedo kit to client. Is there a RTSP package available for torpedo kit. Is there any other way for RTSP streaming?

Thanks,
Swathi

I am not aware of anything in the 2.4-4 BSP release. There are only certain packages that were ported into the LTIB build environment. You may have to port something from gstreamer. It looks like they have a gstreamer 0.10 plugin. Gstreamer 0.10 is what's supported in our older 2.4-4 BSP.

https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/src/gst-rtsp-server/

This isn't something we've explicitly done, so I am afraid I don't have any quick solutions for you.

Hi Adam,

We are able to integrate the gst-rtsp-server package with the BSP and we are able to stream over rtsp.
We are seeing an issue while capturing video:
Step 1) The device boots up and initializes/registers the OV5640 camera driver.
Step 2) Setup the links and run gstreamer to start capturing the video.
Step 3) The video seen on LCD/any other client is with wrong colors, while the video is still streaming the ground pin from the TI kit(J6 connector pin #25) is disconnected and connected back to get the right colors and also when the ground pin disturbed the frame is split/cut horizontally. Any inputs on why this might be happening?

Thanks,
Swathi

Hi Adam,

We are testing the iBall microphone with arecord and aplay. We hear only distortion from the saved audio file. Steps followed:
1) Microphone is connected to the Line-in port.
2) Run arecord -f cd --duration=10 > ~/output.wav
3) aplay ~/output.wav

Thanks,
Swathi
