    Hello Alysia,

As a result of the iMX31 SOM-LV EOL, I'm looking at the DM3730 SOM-LV as a possible replacement. In checking the h/w spec (1020150E) quickly, it appears the mechanical drawing page 58 is the Torpedo, not the DM SOM-LV. I would sure hope the DM SOM-LV has the same connector placement as the iMX31 SOM-LV, since it's the same connectors, and the words SOM-LV are, like the same. I can check the STEP files at some point, but can you provide a simpler 2D dimensional drawing of the DM3730 SOM-LV to compare to the iMX32 SOM-LV drawings?
    Thanks - Steve

On the downloads page, you can review older versions by clicking on the arrow to the left of the file.

That will expand the menu and you should be able to download Rev D of the HW Spec and it has the correct mechanical drawing.

    Sorry about the confusion.

Thanks Adam, good tip. I'm unable to download any older rev docs. Maybe you could fix that too. I'll check the STEP files in the mean time.

By the way, with the iMX31 EOL, any chance you will complete a transition document: 'moving from iMX31 to DM3730 SOM-LV', as was done for the OMAP EOL's?

    Thanks - Steve

The document is a good idea. I will see if we can arrange some resource to get someone or myself to write a document to help with the migration. I can't promise anything, but I'll discuss it with the others today.

Great. I'll document detailed questions for you anyway, which would be just as useful even if you can't get to a doc. I'm multiplexed quite a bit, but will get through that within the next couple weeks. So far, pin to pin review looks pretty good, so I don't expect the list to be too long. Will include some LoLo & BSP questions, as we're using LoLo features for test and WinCE5 for production. at some point, we'll figure out how to best get you the questions. Maybe that could be your template for the transition doc, since iMX31 users will have the same issues.

    Thanks again Adam - Steve

Fantastic. We have a meeting schedule this afternoon to discuss this issue. If you have specific questions that you want to ask and are concerned for privacy reasons, let me know, and I can send you a more secure e-mail address. Otherwise, this is the best venue because others may have similar questions.

    Thank you
