Hi I am a TA for a DSP course at Santa Clara University. I am having trouble registering my product, OMAP L138 Development Kit (LCDK).

Can I have access to the BSL/GEL files to the L-138 Development Kit? Does anyone know if these files will work for the LCDK?

    William,

The BSL/GEL files are available on the Logic PD OMAP-L138 SOM-M1 support website for customers who have registered their kit.  You can also click here to download them if you have registered your kit.

Follow these steps for creating an account and registering your kit.

    1. Click here to create an account.

    2. Click here to register your product.

This webpage will help you identify your part number and serial number.

I am having trouble registering my kit. The book that I am using to set up the kit is the WILEY DSP and Applications with the OMAPL138 experimenter, and it asks that I download BSL/GEL files from this site.

I am using the LCDK version but from what I have read online, the LCDK board can be used in conjunction with the book as well.

My part number as far as I can tell is TMDXLCDK138 and my sn is 3913L138163, which was on a sticker on the back of the board. The barcode on the box is the 2-D barcode, and none of the numbers correspond to the pn/sn sticker examples in the register product link.

Thank you so much for your help.

Your account has been updated with access to the OMAPL138 experimenter product support website.

You should be able to use either the label on the basebord or the module itself. Here is a link to how to decode the labels so you can register the product.

There is no such label on my board.

I own the ti l138 lcdk wich isn't even in the list of products to register.

I read that it can also be used with the examles in the book "Digital Signal Processing and Applications with the OMAP - L138 eXperimenter" this examples use your Board support Library. I understand that only customers of logic pd get regular acces and i hope you could make another exception for lcdk users.
