    Hi,

     

    I want  to know below clarifaictions

    1.Does OMAP35x SOM-LV  has JTAG Interface Support ?

    2.Will  OMAP35x SOM-LV support CCS V5 Software from TI?

    3. Can I use   OMAP35x SOM-LV with Custom development kit?

    4. Will i get Linux and Wince OS with SOM or Only BSP CD's?

    1.Does OMAP35x SOM-LV  has JTAG Interface Support ?

    Yes.  However we recommend customers consider moving to the next generation SOM-LV module.  Information on the DM37x/AM37x SOM-LV module can be found here. The information concerning JTAG can be found in the OMAP35x Hardware Specification and the DM37x - AM37x SOM-LV Hardware Specification.

    2.Will  OMAP35x SOM-LV support CCS V5 Software from TI?
    CCSV5 support access to both the OMAP35x and the DM37x/AM37x.  The module does not limit the use of CCSV5.  Instructions for using CCSv5 with the DM37x/AM37x to create a hello world app can be found here.

    3. Can I use OMAP35x SOM-LV with Custom development kit?
    Absolutely, we intent for customer to design in the modules into their product.  We have had at least one customer create a custom development kit around our module as well.

    4. Will i get Linux and Wince OS with SOM or Only BSP CD's?

    WinCE and Linux binary images are available for the OMAP35x SOM-LV and DM37x/AM37x SOM-LV development kits.  Timesys offers a Linux build environment for customers using the OMAP35x SOM-LV module.  Logic PD offers a Ubuntu 12.04 virtual machine for building Linux for customers using the DM37x SOM module.  WinCE development tools are purchased from Microsoft.  Logic PD provides a BSP for WinCE for both the OMAP35x SOM-LV and DM37x/AM37x SOM-LV modules.
