Q: I am using the Leopard LI-3M02 daughter board with a Aptina MT9T112 camera sensor. The linux kernel has a driver for this camera. How does one set this driver up to use this camera on the Camera Port? This must be a linux driver configuration, right?

A:  The support for that sensor is untested. Currently, we test with CONFIG_VIDEO_MT9P031 enabled. We use the Leopard Imaging LI-5M04 [1] daughter card to test the video drivers. We have provided instructions for this use case in section 7.3.2 of the Linux User's Guide [2]. I would recommend using the guide after building the driver for the MT9T112 as a guide for using the LI-3M02 daughter board. Pay attention to the commands that will need updating to work with the MT9T112. Also, do make sure that jumper JP5 is has the correct setting depending on whether the LI-3M02 uses 8bit or 12bit data. Instructions for setting this are in the Development Kit's User's Guide [3].
