I have Platform Builder installed on my development machine, along with your BSP for the PXA270.

Recently we acquired a IMX31 Zoom kit. I have downloaded the BSP files from this site. Upon looking at the readme, I read the following:

    Quote:

It is highly recommended to remove all previous LoCE components before installing this version of the LoCE Base BSP.

Does this mean that I have to remove the PXA270 components, so there is no LoCE before installing the new version?

Looking at the catalog in Platform Builder I don't see any options for removing components from the catalog.

Can you give us some more detail on how to proceed?

    Kevin,

If you look under Add/Remove Programs in the control panel, you will find at least one possible thing you can uninstall and that should be the BSP. Any BSP components (binary drivers) you've installed will not have any un-installer, but you can go to the WINCE50\PLATFORM\LoCE\bin\lpd_drivers directory to find all of the components.

Each of these directories will have a .CEC file that you can just double-click on to bring up the CEC Editor. In the top menu, all the way to the right are 3 icons to Add/Remove/Update the .CEC file from the catalog. The first option (Add) should already be grey-ed out for a installed component, so just click the Remove icon.

    Hope that helps..

Thanks! That is exactly what I needed. I have the IMX31 BSP installed and functioning now.
