    Hi

I'm attempting to connect an Hitachi, 320*240, SX14Q004 colour STN LCD (8-bit colour mode) to the 79520 starter kit but with only partial success.

The LCD appears to be semi-working, ie, it can flood filled with various colours but the positional accuracy of individual pixels is not quite right.

Looking at the signals, specifically, Frame, Load and CP, reveals their quality to be very poor - approx 25% noise with the CP signal being particularly bad.

Could this effect the positional accuracy i'm seeing ? If so, should the signals be buffered.

Has the board ever been tested with an STN display as it works fine with the LogicPD 3.5" TFT display.

    Regards

    Gary

    Gary,
Did you get this working? If the display picture looks good but it is shifted, it is likely a LCDC timing register issue. If it is fuzzy or just not showing a good a picture it could be poor signaling, because of a cable maybe?
