I just got a Zoom SDK. I installed a PQI 128MB CompactFlash card. When I run a funtest (do not know how to check the CF directly yet) the SDK reports back not Compact Flash found.

    Thanks for your question.

I am wondering if it is the formating or the CF card itself that is to blame.

Reformat the entire card to FAT16 and see if the 'mount' command will work. If it works then the CF card isn't being formatted correctly, perhaps it was pulled out of the reader early (before being unmounted properly). If it doesn't work then the CF card itself is to blame. If this is the case I would try another brand. Logic has had very reliable results with Sandisk.

Logic has designed and verified the CF memory-mode only slot on the SDK to meet CF timing requirements. Unfortunately CF cards vary slightly by manufacturer and we have found certain manufacturer's products to be incompatible with our kits.
