I have a 64 MB CF card, formatted FAT with a couple of files on it. When I inspect the CF registers (memory mapped) it says that the card is BUSY and the card never goes un-BUSY.

Has anyone succeeded in using CF? At all?

    Cheers.

Yes, the CF slots and timings have been tested and verified.
Lolo is capable of mounting and reading files from FAT12 and FAT16
filesystems, see the manual for the commands to do so. The linux
port also uses the CF slot, albeit with a driver modified not to use
the ata interrupts and only 16-bit io.
