    Hi,

I have managed to successfully compile the serial port echo sample application for the SDK75401 and load an execute it without a problem.

I have been using cygwin and the compiler from the CD which came with the SDK.

When I try to extend the sample program with calls to library functions such as sprintf() or strlen() and other such functions, the compiler reports it cannot find the header and library files.

Am I missing something in the make file or linker script? A quick search of the install directories seemed to indicate that the library functions may not been installed, as i cannot locate the header files.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Brad Jensen

    Brad,

Are you running your application in LogicLoader? Are you trying to use API functionality? Please keep in mind that APIs are not supported in LoLo for the LH75401 card engine.

Thanks Aaron. I am trying to use the GNU compiler's glibc API functions, so unfortunately it seems I cannot use the LogicLoader bootloader to execute my programs. Is there a specific reason why APIs are not supported by the LogicLoader for the LH75401? Will they be supported in the at some time in the future?

    Regards,

    versatile,

Sorry for the delayed response, I'd been meaning to follow up on this.

Currently there are no plans for actively developing LoLo for the LH75401 card engine. For this reason LoLo APIs are not available.

If you require a custom LoLo solution you could contract with Logic to get an updated LoLo release that would meet your needs.

    Thanks,
