    Hi All,

    I have the SDK running using the WinCE 5.0 sample binary on a display. Would like to eventually bring up flash animation. Full WinCE 5.0 comes with Media 9 Player. Has anyone tried to run animation on this SDK? Trying to get an idea if its even possible before taking the next development steps.

    This SDK is running a 200Mhz processor. Would the 266Mhz processor be needed? Does Logic plan to release a card engine with the 266Mhz processor?

    I can't speak to the Flash animation stuff.

    We will not be doing a standard 266 MHz LH7A404 card engine. If a customer wanted it and would be willing to sign up for a minimum purchase, we could potentailly do it.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your response. Flash animation is critical to our project and I need to find out if this SDK with 200Mhz processor can handle it before we start spending or committing to volumes. Would Logic be willing to add the WinCE Media 9 to the LOCE binary so that I can check the functionality?

    Ted,

    Have you tried the Show Image for the LH7A404 yet? It has Windows Media Player in it but may not have the support you're wanting.

    Hi Aaron,

    I brought up the Show Image on my SDK with a 5.7" Logic display. Media Player is there and will open but the touch screen isn't functioning properly. It works fine with the WinCE Sample Image.

    Is the hive registry set for different size displays between the Show and Sample Image nk.bin?

    The touch screen activation misses the icons by about an inch for the Show Image while it is right on for the Sample Image.

    Ted,

    You can use a USB Mous to properly calibrate the touchscreen. Then suspend the system to save the registry settings to the HIVE registry on the CF card.
