Is there any way to reload the CPLD via JTAG??? I erased it accidentally.

I can't reload it on via BoLo / LoLo, since I've also erased flash.

Can someone supply a copy of the binary that gets flashed in via JTAG? Or the VHDL so I generate the bitstream?

    Thanks

    Hello Hasjim,

Logic provides the ability to update the CPLD on the card engine by using the 'update' command in LoLo with the supplied .upd files on the downloads page. CPLD code can be purchased if you require the actual code itself, you will want to contact your salesperson for more information regarding this. You should be able to use the RAM version of LoLo in this .zip file:

    http://www.logicpd.com/do...oLo%201.4.4%20P1.zip

Once you have the RAM version running you should be able to update the CPLD with the .upd file. I have not verified this for myself but it was the first idea that came to mind.

If this doesn't work you'll probably have to restore bolo/lolo to flash to update the CPLD.

    Aaron,

Isn't it possible to get a copy of the *.jed, *.isc, *.bsd, *.bit, *.svf, *.mcs, or *.rbt file for the CPLD?

My JTAG controller does not setup the SDRAM controller, and I have no way of running code in SDRAM.

    1000479_README.txt says:

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    File Formats Cheat Sheet:

    *.jed files:
These are used by the Xilinx JTAG programmer to "burn" onto the FPGA in circuit

Can I get a copy of these files for the LH7A400-10???

    Hello,

Logic does not provide CPLD programming files. What Logic does provide is a way to update the CPLD on the board through LogicLoader. You're going to want to restore LogicLoader to your card engine to do this and follow these instructions to update the CPLD:

    1) In LoLo type 'update' at the losh prompt

    2) Go to "Send File" in TeraTerm

    3) Select the .upd file that I attached in my email to you, making sure the binary box is checked (see attached) click open

    4) When it's done updating the CPLD it will say "update done."

    5) Reset the kit

If you require a CPLD programming file or source you can get a quote from product.sales@logicpd.com for purchasing the CPLD source code.

    Thanks,
