Q:
I would like to use the OMAPL138 EVM and interface to the uPP on it andI have several questions:
1. Can I connect an external A/D to the uPP+clk at 60MSPS@10b ?
2. Does the uPP currently interface to the ADS901 A/D ?
3. Are the uPP lines shared with other devices on the board ?
A:
1. Yes the uPP supports 8 and 16 bit widths and with an I/O clock of 75MHz SDR can do 75Mw/s. The I/O clock has an upper bound of 1/4 the CPU clock.
2. Yes, the uPP can be used to interface to A/D converters
3. uPP_CH1 can be accessed through J29 and is not shared with other devices.
